About
Our Story
Werner Brothers Construction was founded by John Werner in the 1960s. He, along with his six sons, ran a small operation for many years until, one by one, the brothers left home and started their own ventures, many staying close to the agricultural industry they had grown to love. Refusing to throw in the towel, John hired his grandchildren, as well as other employees, and continued to provide superior grain bin installation, removal and repair across the Midwest.
I’m Jake Werner, and I am proud to say I am one of those grandkids.
For ten years, I worked under the direct supervision of my grandfather, John, and learned valuable skills as he helped me develop my talent and kindled my passion for the industry. While I worked for my grandfather, I also attended MSUM for Construction Management, and received my degree in 2013.

Family Owned & Operated
After a remarkable career working closely with farmers across the Midwest, my grandfather decided to retire. In 2013, he offered my wife, Karlee, and me the opportunity to purchase the business, with the promise that I would always honor the ag industry and value our employees. In keeping with Werner family tradition, the business remains family-owned and operated, and small enough to ensure excellent, individualized customer service, but large enough to provide affordable, high-quality workmanship.
